Camp York Park update
« on: April 06, 2017, 12:49:21 PM »
There was apparently some storm damage to King's Mountain State park this week. I have spoken with the rangers today. They said a bridge on Park Rd. was damaged that will close parts of the park until May. But the bridge does NOT affect Camp York where we are. No problems getting into our camp as usual. There was a tree that fell on the large bathhouse at Camp York and punched a hole in the roof, but it is covered and the bathhouse should be operational except for the last stall.

The weather forecast is calling for beautiful weather. Highs near 70 and lows around 40 and no rain. So bring warm clothes for the chilly night but light wear for days. Personally, I recommend a heated pad to sleep on instead of a space heater, but that's me. Fun times!

See you on Friday!!
